My On-Site Explorations
Welcome to my video gallery. While I love doing deep-dive research for my articles, nothing beats visiting a location in person.
When I travel to these abandoned places, from local sites in Ireland to international locations like Chernobyl, I always bring my camera. My goal is to do more than just see these places; I want to document them and capture the unique, haunting atmosphere of each one.
Filming these explorations is a core part of my “take only pictures, leave only footprints” philosophy. It’s a way to preserve a moment in time before these places decay further or are demolished.
Below you’ll find a gallery of my on-site explorations. You can also subscribe directly to my Curious Abandoned YouTube channel to see new videos as soon as they’re released.
Want the Full Story?
I’m glad you’re checking out my videos! These walkthroughs give you a first-person look at what it’s like to be there, but they don’t always tell the whole story.
For every video here, there is a full companion article on my Posts page.
In those articles, you will find:
- The deep-dive history of the location.
- My original photography from the exploration.
- My personal stories and observations that don’t always make it into the video.
If you enjoyed a video, I highly encourage you to find the matching article to get the complete picture.
